Ackerman's Music

Ackerman’s Music Center offers music lessons for all ages, styles, and levels.

While the majority of our students begin lessons between the ages of five and nine we also provide instruction to adult students who are looking to refresh or upgrade their playing skills.

Feel free to call us at 201-847-2524 for a trial lesson at no cost or commitment.

Lessons at Ackerman’s are conducted in a fun but disciplined environment concluding with a recital towards the end of the school year for the young students.

LEARN TO PLAY

Your Music Teachers

Ackerman's Music Center offers music lessons for all ages, styles and levels. Whether the student is a child with no musical knowledge or a seasoned musician who's looking to improve musicianship, we're here to help! Call us or drop by to learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

Our monthly rates are currently $170/month. For adults with busy lives lessons can be scheduled at $45 per 30 minute lesson or $80 for 60 minute lesson. Please call or text Ray for details concerning adult lessons.

Instrument Rentals

Ackerman’s Music center services and repairs guitars of all types in house. Our certified luthier Chris Ivory is available by appointment to address your repair needs including re-strings, repairs, and total restorations. Chris also services amplifiers and electronic keyboards. Ackerman’s also expertly repairs woodwind, brass, violin, viola, cello and string bass. Feel free to call Ray if you have any questions!
